Good place to stay if looking for a budget stay

Omar - English speaking, very helpful and helped with all my questions. Location - very near to many attractions. Reasonable cost of stays

Check-in process: Wifi code and remote control for the Air con should be part of the process. Imrprove the cleanliness of the bathroom areas.

Simple and suitable for a quick stay in Casablanca.

Staff were understanding and met all requests

The option to pay by credit card (I realise this is not common in Morocco but in is easier than constantly calculating local currency balances).

Very Good

Within walking distance of many of the must see spots. Rooms are furnished and include tvs and chairs. Staff was very helpful!

The interior is a bit dated and especially the bathrooms could use an upgrade. But all in all good value for money!

Great hotel but ant problems marred it

Huge room with high celings and a lovely view. Attentive staff with a turn down service. Unfortunately we had a bit of an ant infestation however when we pointed it out they did fumegate everyday although to little effect. Breakfast is mediocre but inexpensive. Overall great value for money and a very pleasent experience.

A near perfect property!

Hotel Astrid is 2-Star property conveniently located in proximity to the Medina (Old City), Casa Port Train Station, Marina Mall and it is adjacent to downtown Casablanca. The single room I stayed in is remarkably large at 25 sqm. This hotel has a café, which also serves meals. In judging any accommodation, I weigh in on the following: • Security, • Cleanliness, • Excellent staff, • Air-Conditioning, • Spaciousness, • Availability of elevators for access to upper floors, • Excellent WiFi, • Noise level, • Hot Shower, • Payment by Credit Card. Hotel Astrid tops in 8 of the above criteria. This property is great for its proximity to the: • Bars, Cafes & Restaurants: Just within 10 minutes walking distance. Note: There is a local bar just across the hotel with great prices and complimentary snacks! • There is a confectionery nearby, Patisserie Triumph, with excellent bites for breakfast at very reasonable prices. • Medina (Old City): Just 15 minutes walking distance.

I am somewhat not excited with the following: • Whenever you leave the hotel for a sightseeing, and upon your return to the hotel, you need to remind the Receptionist to switch on the air-conditioning. Otherwise, you’ll be in your room wondering what happened to the air-conditioning. • The property must strive for easy payment through cards.

The location is great 17 minutes walking from the train station, 15 minutes from the bus station just in the heart of the town in a quiet place. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, the hotel entrance and corridors were well decorated and clean. Staff were co-operative also.

Upon check-in we did not find the air conditioning remote control i asked the receptionist he told me that it is not working and need maintenance but when i insisted that it us two hot he asked for one hour to feedback After 1 hour, i asked again and received the remote, but guess what? The AC only worked 15 minutes, and then it started to drop water in the room, so eventually, we were forced to close it and sleep the whole night in this hot weather. The pillows are not comfortable at all. i had to use my arms instead There is no Internet in the rooms as well, and this is a very critical point for a tourist that must be covered by the hotel.

Neat and clean, great hotel for its price!

Neat and clean, fresh clean towels and sheets, love the shower Friendly staff and always has someone in the reception area

A little noisy but nothing to complain about ^^

A pleasant place to stay in Casablanca :-)

The hotel is well located - perhaps a 15 minute walk from Casa Port train station. Breakfast was available for MAD 35 and was very nice. My room was clean and pleasant. I would stay again if in Casablanca :-)

we like the hotel’s ambiance. Workers were kind. The room was big enough and also shower too.

The street in front of the hotel was too noisy and there was a bar so, drunk people were fighting all the night. We couldn’t sleep nicely.

Wonderful

Hotel is in a great location, room was very spacious and staff is very polite and helpful.

Bed was somewhat comfortable, but pillows were not at all. Still, other people might not agree on that. Also, our room had some angry dogs as neighbors, they were sometimes barking during the night quite loud.

Very Good

Large room which was very clean and included a small balcony. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of hot water. There was a pleasant looking communal sitting area adjacent to the reception but we did not use it.

Only bar soaps were provided in the bathroom and the separate toilet was extremely cramped.

Excellent value for money.

Big room; big bathroom. Quiet, clean and safe. Charming sitting area. Excellent price/quality ratio. Reception returned the money I overpaid; so very kind of him.

No wifi in the room.
